Is Verpixle really free?
Yes. Anonymizing photos and short videos is free and requires no sign-up. Fair limits apply to file size and video length.
What happens to my files?
Your files are processed exclusively on servers in the EU, transferred encrypted, and automatically deleted after no more than 24 hours. We never use your content for training or any other purpose.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You upload a file and receive the result via a private link — with no registration and no email address.
Are license plates detected too?
Yes — faces and vehicle license plates are detected, in German and EU formats, even at an angle or partially obscured. You choose what gets blurred.
Is the quality of video and audio preserved?
Yes. The resolution stays unchanged (videos up to Full HD/1080p), the audio track is carried over unchanged, and the image orientation stays correct.
Is it privacy-focused?
We process data exclusively in the EU, store it only briefly, and delete it automatically. See our privacy policy for details.
