Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller is the service provider named in the Legal Notice.

2. Processing of uploaded media

Uploaded photos and videos are processed solely for the purpose of anonymization (blurring of faces and license plates) (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

• Storage location: data centers within the EU.
• Storage period: the original and the result are automatically deleted after no more than 24 hours.
• Transmission: encrypted via TLS.
• No misuse: no AI training, no analysis, no disclosure for advertising purposes.

3. Server log files

When the site is accessed, technically necessary data (shortened IP address, date/time, page accessed, browser type) is processed briefly to ensure operation and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Processors

To provide the service, we use carefully selected service providers with whom data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place:

• Application hosting: netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany.
• File storage: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, via the „R2“ service with a storage location limited to the EU (EU jurisdiction). The EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply to any third-country transfers.
• Payment processing: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland — only for paid use; with purely free use, no payment processing takes place.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. No special categories

The service is intended for blurring, not identification. No biometric identification takes place.
