Faces and license plates – in a single step
Most free tools blur faces only. Verpixle detects faces and license plates at the same time and blurs both in a single pass. Faces run through the YuNet model (designed to handle small and side-on faces), license plates through a YOLOv11 model that finds even distant plates on 4K photos at high input resolution.
Photos and videos at full resolution
Verpixle processes images (JPG, PNG) and videos (MP4, MOV). The resolution is preserved – videos currently up to Full HD (1080p) – the audio track is carried over unchanged, and the image orientation stays correct. For videos, the motion of objects across frames is taken into account so that faces and license plates stay covered throughout.
Adjustable strength
For each file you choose what gets blurred – faces, license plates or both – and how strong the blur is. For license plates we recommend a strong setting so that no information can be reconstructed.
